The Berlin-based Schlichtungsstelle Reise Verkehr e.V. is one of the largest conciliation centres in Germany and an important player in the field of alternative dispute resolution in Europe. It can be contacted free of charge by travellers in disputes with travel or transport companies (train, bus, flight, ship), works independently and is recognised by the Federal Government in accordance with the Consumer Dispute Resolution Act.
Thanks to professional expertise, target group-specific communication and a comprehensive overall assessment of the interests involved, it is usually possible to settle the dispute amicably. The high level of satisfaction of the parties involved and the growing awareness of the conciliation body for travel and transport lead to an increasing number of cases.
