TRAVEL_NET, the European network of dispute resolution bodies in the travel and transport sector, was founded in November 2017. The network currently comprises 28 conciliation bodies from 18 countries, which regularly exchange information on Europe-wide trends in out-of-court dispute resolution and their conciliation practices.

Since 2012, arbitration boards working in Germany have been meeting at least once a year to exchange practical experience in out-of-court dispute resolution.

The Schlichtungsstelle Reise & Verkehr e.V. cooperates with various universities in order to

• to promote scientific knowledge about out-of-court dispute resolution.
• to support courses on out-of-court dispute resolution in a practice-oriented manner.
• offer internships for students.
• To make students aware of Schlichtungsstelle Reise & Verkehr e.V. as an interesting employer – during and after their studies.
